Crisis Services

  • Homeless Services/Supportive Housing Program (SHP)

    The Homeless Services/Supportive Housing Program (SHP) is designed to help those without permanent housing become independent and self-supportive.

  • Emergency Utility Management Services

    For those who qualify, the PECO Energy Matching Energy Assistance fund is available to assist applicants who are about to lose their PECO service, or whose service has already been terminated.

  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program

    This program helps eligible persons receive and maintain what used to termed food stamp benefits.

  • Emergency Food Program

    This program provides eligible residents with an emergency food package that will feed a family for an average of three days.

  • LIHEAP Crisis

    Low Income Home Energy Assistance for help with paying heating bills or heating emergencies.

  • Emergency Home Loan Program (EHLP)

    Program to help prevent homeowners from losing their homes to foreclosure.  Unlike HEMAP, it is available to homeowners with FHA Loans
