VITA "Money In Your Pocket" Program

The VITA program trains and certifies over 200 community volunteers to prepare income tax returns during the tax season, which runs from January through April each year. In 2010, our tax preparers at CADCOM returned more than $1.1 million in refunds to Montgomery County families. 

Eligibility

Do you earn less than $49,000 a year? You're qualified!

Income Guidelines

The VITA program provides tax preparation services to individuals and families earning less that $49,000 in annual income.

Fees

There are no fees involved. VITA is a free service to working individuals and families.

What Does the Program Provide?

VITA puts money back into the pockets of families working to pay bills and maintain their households. In 2011, our tax preparers at CADCOM returned more than $1.1 million in refunds to Montgomery County families.
